Thank goodness for Holiday weekends!

Well I am so ready to leave work once again. Today has gone by SOOOOOOO slow. I have had a helper back here w/ me for the past week, and so I am constantly having to find things for him to do which is sometimes hard. I definitely need the help, but sometimes I just don't how to delegate b/c most things I really need to do myself. That is the perfectionist & OCD coming out of me.

The past week has gone by pretty fast which has been nice. Jeremy and I have been bickering quite a bit lately which is frustrating. We are just really getting on each other's nerves. He will annoy me so I will nag at him to do something around the house, in turn he flips a devil switch and is extremely rude, in turn I get VERY angry, then he is angry and then we both are unhappy. It is not a very fun cycle and we have been going at it like that for quite a few days now. Don't get me wrong we have our good moments, but not that often. I don't know if the pregnancy has caused me to be more frustrated w/ him not being around the house as much to help me or what, but I know he has to work and I respect that, so I think that sometimes he should help out more and sometimes I need to just relax. I am VERY impatient though, so that is hard. I am completely rambling by the way, so sorry if nothing above makes sense.

I am really needing to visit Babies R Us to research the bottles. I registered for like 3 different types and have no idea what to choose. I think that I am going to go next week by myself so I can not feel rushed and take my time deciding what I want. I finally got all my shower dates set up which is nice. I am super excited, and I feel like I don't need to stress about finding dates anymore. My first shower is Oct. 11 and I can't wait. Sorry if that sounds selfish or superficial, but I am just being honest.

I have to go to a cousin's wedding this weekend, so hopefully we have a good time. But once again Jeremy was complaining about having to go tonight rather than tomorrow. Well let's think here, it is going to take us over 5 hours to get there and the wedding is a day wedding tomorrow AND we are coming home Sunday. Why wouldn't we leave tonight. Also him & one of my BIL's are already planning on leaving the reception to watch the MU game tomorrow night. I was a bit annoyed by this. I mean I can't imagine going to one of his family events and in the middle being like "okay babe, I think that I am going to leave for a couple of hours to watch TV, b/c I would rather do that than be around your family which I haven't seen in months" nope wouldn't happen, b/c I am not RUDE!!! I told him that if it was appropriate and if I didn't feel he was disrespecting anyone than he could go, but if any anyway I was uncomfortable w/ it he was going to stay. He just is always acting like he would rather be anywhere in the world than hanging out w/ my family and that is fine if he feels that way, it makes me sad, but he has his own feelings, but don't let the whole world know that is how your feeling. I would never want people to know that I would rather be anywhere but w/ them, how rude!!! Okay, I realized I started bitching again about my darling husband, sorry. I love him dearly, but like I said, he is getting on my nerves these past couple days.

Have a great Labor Day weekend. Thanks for listening to my bitch fest!

Happy Hump Day!

So glad today is almost over!!! I have had quite a hormonal day & I am ready to be home!!!

I am doing good otherwise. We had a good but exhausting weekend w/ my best friend's wedding. The wedding went great though. I didn't really like my hair or makeup, but oh well.

I will attach a pic or two later.

Just wanted to say hi & that I am still alive & kicking (and so is the baby!).

Have a great night.

Hello Again

I feel like I have been such a good blogger this past week, so pat on the back to me. I guess I have had a lot to say lately.

Thank you all for all the encouraging words on my milestone. Also I am glad that you all like the bedding & furniture, I am so indecisive so I am glad to have those decisions made.

I attached 24 week pics (+1 day, I forgot to take them last night, so we took them this morning). Too bad I didn't just take them, b/c I got my hair dyed today. I am very pleased!!!

How I felt in week 23:

Really good. My stomach has started to hurt when I lean over. It is like I am smushing things in my tummy that don't like to be smushed. It is pretty uncomfortable. Oh well.

Have a great night.

24 week milestone

So I don't know if this is even true or not, but I had heard a while back that the hospitals don't try to save babies that are younger than 24 weeks. That has always stuck in my head, and all during this pregnancy I have been longing to hit today's milestone. I am so thankful I have made it to 24 weeks and I look forward to 16 more weeks. I am glad that I feel comfortable with the pregnancy now and I just pray that everything will work out for the best for Jeremy & I.

I attached pics of the furniture (we went w/ espresso, and ordered the 6 drawer dresser, dressing station w/ hutch & crib) we ordered and of the bedding we decided on. I am registering tonight w/ my mom & my MIL. I am really looking forward to it.

Thank you all for standing by me and keeping me company. This blog has really helped me along my journey.

Have a great night!

I HATE BEING INDECISIVE!!!

So furniture shopping went better than planned last night. I went online & visited all the brand websites before I went so I had a list of the styles that I was interested in. It was a great idea b/c the store closed shortly after I got there so I didn't have much time. I was impressed that they had brochures for most of the ones I had liked so I was able to write down the costs on the brochures & so I had something to look back on & to show Jeremy.

The first store I was very impressed, I hadn't even known it was there (very close to my home) until the other night & glad I do. The funniest thing is that we had found a travel system (stroller) at Babies R Us we loved but after looking at the Chicco website I thought I might like a different style (actually exact style but different color) better. I couldn't find that color anywhere, so we just decided it would be easiest to stick w/ what we found first since we could register for it. The first store (and the second store) freaking had it, I couldn't believe. I really think I like it better. I am going to have Jeremy go w/ me to take a look, but I think I like the green color better & I think he will too. I actually like it more than I did online.

Anywho, at the second store, which was a bit overpriced I looked around some more. Then I stumbled across the bedding I like. I have spent hours online looking at bedding. I want something girly but not too girly b/c her room is dark blue. I have loved my set online & the reviews have been great. There was only one problem, the outside of the bumper can't be seen in any of the pics I have seen. Well it is a pale yellow fuzzy color, not really my favorite & it is the color of the whole outside of the bumper. Everything else about this set I LOVE, why did that have to semi-suck. So now I don't know what to do. I found another set there that I had liked online but the dust ruffle is sheer & I didn't think that I would like that. I actually did kind of like seeing it in person, so I am just going to have to go back & decide. I was pretty stressed, and this is some silly stuff to stress about, but that's me, wanting everything to be perfect, like the baby is really going to know or care seriously, but I can't help it!!!

I think that we are deciding between 3 sets of furniture now, so Jeremy & I will have to go look at all 3 and decide what to do. Decisions, decisions!!!

Alright have a great weekend, I will be busy w/ house cleaning & rearranging & furniture & bedding shopping!!!

Go USA!!!

Thought I would give a shout out to the United States during the Olympics.

Anywho, I am still here doing good. Two nights ago I barely slept. I was so miserable, my arms were cramping up and I was awake for about 2 1/2 hours in the middle of the night. I should have waited to watch the Olympics until then, but I got to see the rerun of it. Last night was much better.

I have been trying to find furniture for the nursery and having quite an annoying time doing so. I don't know about you guys, but I love the computer & shopping online. I love stores that have great websites that you can search through (reminds me of something else, I HATE it when websites don't have a search bar on their home page that is clearly identifiable!!!) and find what you need at ease. There are 2 stores in my area that have the worst websites. They link you to the manufacturers websites. I don't want to see their fucking websites, I want to know what the hell you have in stock or what can I order online through YOUR website & how much is it going to cost me. The manufacturers websites don't list prices either so you are screwed unless you go to the store. I am busy and want to do all of this online during my lunch break! Ugr!!!!!!!!!! And the stores freaking close at 6 on most nights. I am sorry, but I work, & you need to stay open at least until 7 or 8 for working people. I almost don't want to find anything at these places b/c I am so damn annoyed by their websites. But like it or not, I am going to visit them today, but I am not happy about it. We'll see if they can impress me by going in the store, b/c right now I hate them!!!

I posted my 22 week pics. Still feeling great. Week 21 was pretty easy. Connelly is moving around quite a bit now, but never too much for me. It is just amazing to feel that inside of you, so surreal, but I love it. Last night, I was pushing down on my tummy & felt something small move by my hand. Before this I think I have just felt her head, but it was definitely a limb of hers, it was pretty neat. I don't think this would ever get old.

Well your prayers worked, the lady at my work is PREGNANT!!! After 4 years of trying & 2 ectopics & numerous surgeries she got a BFP!!! She said her progesterone is low, I don't know what that means, but they are giving her pills to help it out. Please continue to pray for her & her pregnancy, I want so badly for this to work out for her. She is SO excited!!!

Alright, well I think that is it, have a great day!

Nesting Weekend

Well I am hoping that w/ Jeremy not around this weekend I will be able to get alot done around the house.

We have been bickering the last couple days b/c he hasn't been helping too much w/ the household chores. And it isn't even really that, there are a couple things I asked of him to take care of and he hasn't after weeks of me asking. Finally in the last couple days I was fed up & was pretty much ignoring him. He got the hint, thank god & hopefully will start handling our business when he needs to rather than putting it off & behind anything having to do w/ his work.

Anywho, we are great & dandy now but he will be gone until Sunday, so now I already miss him. I have become really clingy to him & our pup during this pregnancy. I just love being around them & snuggling w/ them & would be okay if I didn't have to do anything else.

My friend from out of town is coming in town this weekend, so I am excited to be able to hang out w/ her. I also might try to hit up the pool tomorrow too.

I forgot to download the pics again, so it looks like you'll have to wait until next week.

So a lady from work that has been trying to get pregnant for years and has experienced 2 ectopics is still TTC and she is 2 days late on her period. She took a test and it came up negative, but I am still praying for her & I hope you do too. I know she wants this so badly (as badly as all us IFers do) and hasn't had any luck, so please keep her in your thoughts!!!

Okay, that's it!
Have a great weekend.

Still here

I am still here & going strong. I took 22 week pics the other night, but haven't downloaded them yet. I will post them as soon as I do.

Yesterday I was able to get off work a little early since a convention I went to ran short. I went home & cleaned most the night. I am officially nesting. I am trying to clean out our office to prepare for our lil one. I am also having to clean our guest bedroom to convert it to a bedroom/office. Fun (not really)!

Tonight I have an outing w/ a few girlfriends & my sis. We are all sorority sisters that live in our area & try to get together once a month. One of our friends is moving & so it is a bit of a goodbye dinner too.

We went to Babies R Us the other night & started registering. It was very overwhelming. We did find 3 strollers we REALLY liked and those were about the only things that went on the registry. We found the travel system stroller and luckily the one we both liked would work if we have a boy later on. Jeremy also found a jogging stroller he thought he has to have so we put that on there & then an umbrella stroller I liked. Most things we found had so many selections that I just put off until another time. I figure I can go w/ my mom & sisters some time soon and they can give me pointers since I have no clue.

How I felt during week 21.

Great. The baby is kicking a lot more and that is exciting. I like that I can feel the baby on the outside now & see it too. My face is clearing up a bit, but if you have read my posts for a while, you know that it is a dirty cycle & soon enough those lovely zits will be back. But I am enjoying my time w/o them while it lasts.

Have a great night.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Sorry to make you guys wait, I forgot to post yesterday b/c I wasn't at work.

We are so excited. Her name is Connelly (maiden name) Maret (mom's names Mary & Janet combined)!!!

Enjoy the pics, we are! In one of them you can see her feet! She kept crossing her legs so it took the lady a while to tell us, which made it more exciting.

Have a great weekend.
