HI

Sorry for the lame title, I just don't know what to put as the title name most of the time.

I am doing pretty well, the baby is moving around like crazy right now and it just makes me smile. Holy cow, this is my life, I am going to have a baby in December and can't believe it.

I can't wait for the 3D/4D u/s tomorrow. I will post the pics tomorrow if I remember. I attached my 30 week pics and a couple pics from the wedding this weekend.

Interesting pregnancy symptoms I haven't brought up before:

1. this is REALLY gross, but my discharge is no longer in the center of the middle part of my underwear. It is now at the top of the middle part of my underwear. It is like my hole moved or something. I have thought that is the weirdest thing.

2. I can totally tell that my crotch is swollen and hanging lower than it did before. I haven't decided if it has turned blue, like Jenny McCarthy says her did, yet.

3. I asked my doctor about getting pedicures and if the leg massage can put you into preterm labor, b/c I have thought this for years. He laughed and said no, that that was a wives tale.

Exhausted

We had a great weekend in Denver, the weather was amazing. I am so glad to be back though!!! The wedding events were a tad stressful & exhausting and I was so over them by the time the weekend was coming to a close.

I did experience my first Jewish wedding which was a treat. I really enjoyed being a part of the different culture and everything it had to offer and I am so glad that I have that experience now. They had asked all the men to wear the head coverings for the ceremony and even had purchased them for the guys to wear. I was completely offended when some of the men didn't wear them. I understand we all have our own religions and I am okay with that, but we were at their wedding and I felt that out of respect of their wishes on their day all men should have worn the coverings. It's not like that were asking us to be Jewish, they just wanted us to respect their beliefs and I felt like it was a little rebellious and slap to the face that people chose to ignore their requests.

The bride & groom did make the poor choice of allowing the men in the wedding to begin drinking 5 hours before the ceremony even began, so you can only imagine how drunk they were by the time it began. My husband is quite annoying to me when he gets drunk and when I am sober the amount that I am annoyed grows exponentially!!! Two of the guys were screaming and cussing at each other at the beginning of the reception and I thought they were going to hit each other. A different guy in the wedding that looks like he should be Hulk Hogan's brother b/c he was so built was also pretty obnoxious. Towards the middle of the reception he took off all his shirts & was dancing around and then put his vest back on and that is what he wore for the rest of the evening. He looks like he came straight out of Chip N Dales. Jeremy & I had to sit at a table w/ all the drunk guys for dinner and it was so uncomfortable and stressful. I wanted to just disappear. Once we were all able to get up, which was pretty late b/c dinner wasn't served until 9:45pm and there were at least 1 1/2 of toasts the night got a little better.

I was so glad to be home last night!!! We did a lot of walking in Denver and so I was tired and sore there. I have begun to get crotch muscle pain lately, but nothing like this past weekend. Friday night we had to walk about 8 blocks to the rehearsal dinner and half of that I did in very high heels that I realized no longer really fit my growing feet. I was miserable Saturday morning. I could barely walk my crotch muscles hurt so bad. Luckily I found some very low heels there & wore those instead Saturday night which helped a bit. I have noticed today too, that my tennis shoes are quite snug. NO fun.

Anyways, I will download the pics & post them sometime this week. Today is also 30 weeks for us so I will post the pics I had Jeremy take of me this morning later too. We are having our 3D/4D ultrasound Thursday and I can barely stand the wait. I just can't wait to see our little one again. Today has been a really long day & I can't wait to get out of here. I am so tired & just want to relax.

Can't wait for the day to be over

Today has gone by pretty fast, I have been pretty busy, and not even w/ the 2 post its full of to-do items that I needed to get done today. Oh well.

I am taking off work tomorrow so I can go to Denver, so I am excited that today is my Friday!!!

Yesterday, was a not so good day. I think it all started when I was reading up on Jenny's blog. She is the one that lost her husband and m/c all w/in about 2 weeks. I am just so devastated for her. I couldn't get over what she must be going through right now. I just ached reading her posts and knowing that her life is never going to be the same. I emailed Jeremy immediately and let him know how much he means to me & how happy I am with the life we've made. I am just so sad that she doesn't have her husband anymore. Anyway, I was a mess after reading that and then the rest of the day I just never could get out of my funk. Last night I went to Macy's to try to find a cardigan or something to wear w/ my dress to the wedding this weekend w/ no luck. I found some shoes for Jeremy that he'd been needing so I got those. I was going to use these $10 off cards, but thought if he didn't like them I would lose the money so I decided to save them for the perfume that I was going to buy. Turns out you can't use them for perfume, so I was pretty bummed about that b/c they were out of the small bottle so I had to get the $75 bottle. So then I had these stupid $10 off coupons to use or lose (they expire this weekend) and didn't know what else to get. I tried to find a friend a bachelorette party gift, but couldn't and then tried to find Jeremy a shirt but couldn't and after being at the mall for hours at this point I was pissed. My phone had died, my knees were killing me, I was so tired. I finally went to the baby section and bought Connelly the cutest coat & a little shirt. I finally left the mall, but by that time I was so tired & exhausted that I was bawling. I just wanted to be home & in comfy clothes. I felt much better when I got home!!

Today is going good, like I said. So I have a question for you guys. For those that are married or have kids or are pregnant, did you ever look at your registries and see what people have bought. I feel terrible doing it, but I can't help myself. I am just so excited. I feel as if I am being ungrateful, but I feel the exact opposite when I see it. I can't believe how generous my friends & family are and I can't wait to thank them all. Is it so awful of me to be looking though? I can't help it, I am an EXTREMELY nosy person and I just can't not look. What do you guys think? Do I need to stop, should I feel bad?

Alright, well I probably won't post again until Monday, so have a great weekend.

Low Iron

So I guess I am a little low on iron & that is why the nurse was calling. She has called me in a supplement that I am to take along w/ my prenatal vitamins. So I feel a lot better now. She asked if I have been taking my vitamins, which I have, but I didn't mention that I usually forget to take them on the weekends. So hopefully the iron helps and I will be good to go.

Thanks for your thoughts, I was a little nervous.

I attached 29 week pics. Like Jen's, my photographer was out of time & therefore couldn't take me 28 week pics, so I just waited a week. I am getting bigger. My butt has more stretch marks, but none on the tummy yet. I am breaking out on my forehead again which sucks. My feet are starting to swell. It is pretty gross to look at my feet after I take my socks off. It feels like my crotch muscles are sore. Almost like I have just had sex, but really have let Jeremy near me in a while (which is wrong of me, but I am just SO tired).

Freaking Out (sort of)

I just got home from work feeling good and I hear a phone message from a nurse at the doctor's office asking me to call the nurse's line & ask for her & that they have information for me. What??? You can't leave a message on a pregnant woman's answering machine w/o giving more details just in case they don't reach it until after hours as I have & now don't know what to think? Do I have gestational diabetes? He told me we would talk about the results at my next appointment, so is that it? Did they find something in my urine? I was already kind of freaking out today b/c I was having some weird cramps which I think it was just that I needed to poop and I did later on today, but the baby wasn't moving around as much this morning. She has been back to normal ever since so I don't think anything is wrong, but I am definitely worried. What do they want? Does anyone know why they would need to talk to me???

Tired & Cranky

Today I am so tired. I got to bed around 10:30 last night & had to get up at 6:30 this morning. I am so glad Jeremy is coming back today, I miss that guy!!! I didn't get everything priced for the garge sale last night so I have to go back to my parents after I get off work tonight, and tonight is my late night at work so that might not even be until 8 or later. I am just exhausted. I need a day to just sleep and relax and I know I don't have time for that. At least I won't be working this Friday so I will be able to try to relax a bit. I have been cranky all day, I just don't want anyone to mess w/ me.

Anyways, not much new to post.

I know what I was going to say earlier. I need some good ideas for shower hostess gifts. I have my showers coming up and want to be able to thank the people throwing them for me w/ something nice & special. Does anyone have any ideas? I have friends, family & my mom's friends throwing the showers, so the gifts would be for women between the ages of 26 and probably 60. I appreciate all the help I can get!

Glucose Test

I had my glucose test today. Not too much fun. It was way better tasting that I thought. Luckily they gave it to me ahead of time & so I could refrigerate it & drink it before going to the office. However, I did have to wait an extremely long time to get into the doctor. Everything looks good they said, and I find out the results in 2 weeks. That will be a big week, we will find out the results, we will be 30 weeks & we will have the 3D/4D u/s done. I can't wait to see this baby again!!!

She has been moving like crazy as usual, but no complaints here. I was having severe back spasms on Sunday, but they are gone now. I have always had my back do things like that about every few months, but only a couple times a day for each time it happened. Sunday it was about every 5 minutes & it was quite painful, I am glad it is gone.

Sleeping is no fun, but I am getting the job done. Jeremy has been out of town so I miss him. I slept at my house Sunday night and was so proud b/c I am usually terrified, but I did so good. I stayed at my parents last night and will again tonight b/c we are getting ready for our garage sale this weekend and I we don't get done until real late & then I don't want to have to drive all the way home only to be alone. Luckily Jeremy comes back tomorrow, b/c I miss him very much. Remember, I have become very clingy to him & Lucy during this pregnancy and I don't like it when our little happy family doesn't get to be together.

We bought our stroller system & bedding. I went w/ a complete different bedding set. When I saw this one in the store, I had to have it. I like everything about it (except the price was higher) and feel great about my decision. I attached pics of both. Jeremy's parents said they would pay for both as their gifts so we REALLY appreciate that b/c these were high ticket items. I can't wait to use them!!!

So I am really tired & just want to go to bed, but like I said I get to price garage sale items tonight, yippee!
